Institutional Research and Assessment
About the Office
Institutional Research and Assessment serves the College by producing both periodic and ad hoc data analyses and reports. This includes the College’s external reporting to all federal, state and accrediting agencies on a wide variety of topics, the Factbook/Enrollment Reports as well as various longitudinal analyses and outcomes studies that support strategic planning and assessment efforts.
If you need to request data, please contact Meghan Alai, Dean, at 732-906-2622 or MAlai@middlesexcc.edu.
Institutional Research adheres to all federal and state census date guidelines. Thus all semester-based data generated by our office is “frozen” as of our census date, by October 15th for Fall and by March 15th for Spring. There may be some minor enrollment discrepancies due to late starting fall or spring courses but we are federally mandated to comply with the census dates. All external reporting including federal and state reporting is based on the frozen census date files.
Institutional Research Dashboards
Dashboards are a great way to provide dynamic reports that add context and tell a more complete story through visual representations of data. Dashboards give the user control to create a more customized view and the ability to export images for use in their own reports.
Additional Tableau dashboards are available in a secure portal. For access, please contact Meghan Alai.
